Though the high stakes, high charge times we find ourselves in bring the dangers of burning up, burning out, and checking out—we’re also presented with opportunities to cultivate unassailable personal and collective power grounded in each of our own sacred purpose. This workshop is for those looking to find inspiration, and focused motivation in this moment of chaos—while bringing deeper integrity (rather than attempts at perfection) to reckoning with the reverberations of White supremacy, anti-Blackness, and settler colonialism within ourselves and the systems within which we operate.

This four-hour, healing justice-inspired workshop is a participatory, experiential learning opportunity. We invite you to join us in slowing down; exploring a rainbow of cultural guiding principles, symbolism and practices; and discovering what resonates with your understanding of revitalization and collective healing.

Inspired by wounded healers’ stories, we will consider how movement, ceremonies, drawing, stories-that-wake-us-up, and other healing practices help us transcend resistance, anger, stigma and grief; increase joy; and inspire us to continue walking together in good ways.

We will explore the difference that "living in the whole of time" makes. You will have opportunities for dialogue in small breakout groups. Of course, we will share resources. Our intent is having you leave feeling connected with more kindred spirits than you had when you entered.

Please think about inviting a kindred spirit or two or more to join you in this experience. If you like, we will place you in a breakout group of your own so you can dialogue about what healing looks like for you and your community in a familiar, safe, relational space.
