Sankofa Part I premieres February 2026

🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of Indigo Cultural Center's premiere of the Sankofa Infant Mental Health History Project, PART ONE: Land, Root, Seed, Culture, Community. This is the unveiling of a multi-year and ongoing love letter to our field, and we want you to be there! 🎉

The Sankofa Infant Mental Health History Project (Sankofa Project) is an ongoing effort led by Indigo Cultural Center and co-held, co-dreamt, and co-created with the Steering Collective for the purpose of revisiting the history of infant mental health (IMH) and expanding our understanding of relational health.

Join us as we watch our first Sankofa film together, engage in lively and reflective conversation, and reach back to -- together -- retrieve cultural, community, and indigenous wisdom that still holds truths for our infant mental health field.

The Sankofa Part One video features FIVE storytellers from the IMH field, along with our Sankofa Project Steering Collective. There are FOUR dates/times to choose from and 5 ticket tiers to help support your ability to join us!
